Scientific program
The
scientific program as described below has been organized by the
Scientific Committee. It is made of one keynote talk that will be
delivered by Dr Eric Green, scientific director of NHGRI, 11
scientific sessions covering all aspects of canine and feline
genomics from genome structure and evolution to Mendelian and complex
inherited diseases as well as phenotype-genotype relationship for
some important physiological traits.
Anne-Sophie Lequarré as leader of the LUPA project recently funded by the European
Community has been invited to provide the entire community with the
aim and topics of this project.
In
addition 2 poster sessions will allow a broader overview of on-going research in canine and feline genetics.
All
talks presented during the scientific sessions outlined below will be
selected by members of the scientific committee from the bulk of
abstracts submitted before February 15th.
